The Grounds

The Smokehouse: Originally a smokehouse built in 1894, the converted petite cottage offers a peaked ceiling, luxurious queen wrought iron bed, private bathroom with shower and a small deck next to Mill Gap Run.

The Deck: Located between the Springhouse and the Smokehouse, the expansive deck is the perfect place to enjoy your breakfast, an afternoon glass of wine, views of Hommon or Little Ridge Mountains, Mill Gap Run or catch glimpses of finches, cardinals or Lost River’s resident American Bald eagles.

The Springhouse: Formerly used as a space to cool milk cans and later as the summer kitchen, the present day cottage echoes its historic footprint and is now the larger of the two petite cottages. The Springhouse is well appointed with a queen wrought iron bed, loveseat, bathroom with shower and a screened-in sitting porch.

The Summerhouse: A screened-in rustic hideaway to weave a basket, listen to the gentle sounds of Mill Gap Run, write a book, put your feet up, paint, or watch the clouds go by.
